        Hi Brenda

Sometime, do so much math, and if in the exam never peform to the max, quite wasted. This is what happen to DS.

Just threw away all pri five past year papers, the amount of work that he put in is double than other subject, but did not reap as much.Hope next year will be better.

I guess doing math also need alot of carefullness.Mistake done is done.

However, I guess we have no choice but to continuous foucs in Maths again as we can the most post requested for help still are Maths

        Thanks

          Very true.

For chinese, if our effort is as much as math, am very very sure, the rewards is also more.

There again, sometime, if the math paper set in school is low, yet careless in the paper, it can be quite bad too.Very hard to judge the standard of a child too.DS class has got one girl pretty good in math, mid year 95m sa2, dropped to 75,I believe must be an accident.Cannot be so drastic and sa1 is a tougher paper.

Constantly have been doing high level questions may not be the best bet too.So still thinking how to strike a good balance.

            Mummies,

Care to share what are the mistakes that your dd or ds has made or done well during this sa exam?

Mine over fumble in math paper, under peformed, cos too stress up.

On science mcq, shade one of the oas at the wrong one.Answer on paper itself is correct.

Anyone has any idea if english compo goes out of point, how many marks will be awarded?thanks

            Leanne

I think this definitely a big blow especially SA2 is super important.

DD class also have a girl did badly in Science if not wrong the grade is like low B.

We can do our best and the final result is not up to us to decide

Exam condition and mental stage of the child is very impt.We can try our best to help the child, but the day is really depends on the exam itself.

Can do tons and tons of revision, but its the last race that counts.

That is why, my last post, after pri five , just move on, no matter how good or bad the results is.If its good, keep it up, if its bad, just fine tune those topics or areas that are weak.

                        Hi Leanne

That's good. As such have to very careful in either EL Compo. or CL Compo. otherwise immediately 32 marks fly off.
