I received the letter too. It stated that my gal will be in Primary 1 Responsibility class. It is such a long word. Anyone's DD same class as her?

Thanks Tinkerbelle for sharing some of the valuable info. lol, looking at the to-pay-list u provided, is $300 cash enough or should i bring more? I need to book school bus too.

I think $300 should be enough. Sorry, I can't share much about school bus fees as my DDs don't take the sch bus. Heard from another mummy that the fees depend on how far away you live from the sch. She also mentioned sch bus vendors may require a 2 month payment for January and the June holidays as well. I think maybe you can call the bus vendor to verify this out once you get the letter from the sch.

The letter did state to bring pen, NRIC of parents & bank account no. Besides that, they only stated $17.50, which includes hao peng you & report book. No other cost is stated in the letter. tsk tsk.

At least now, I have a rough idea of how much to bring along.. Or they accept card? :lol: Ignore me..

There are 8 P1 classes altogether. These are the P1 classes for 2011:

1. Compassion
2. Integrity
3. Perseverance
4. Gratitude
5. Responsibility
6. Respect
7. Humility
8. Zeal

Don't worry too much about the gals not knowing what the values mean. The form teachers will tell them in good time.

Ya, 1 Perseverance is a very long word but look on the bright side, your DD will be one of the very few P1 who can spell this word
I was hoping the sch will allow the gals to write 1C, 1I, 1P, 1G, 1R etc but just realize that there are 1 Respect and 1 Responsibility so I doubt the sch will call both these classes 1R. :scratchhead:

Checked with DD1, the order of classes I stated in my previous post are actually replacing the the current 1A to 1H. In other words, 1A will be known as 1 Compassion, 1B - 1 Integrity etc.

I see. So better get my DD to start learning how to spell Perseverance. :lol:
