Have you received your letter yet? Maybe you might want to wait for a few more days. The sch probably sent out the letters in batches. Yours probably 'akan datang'. If you still haven't receive your by Thurs or Fri, you might want to call the sch.

Congrats on finally receiving the orientation letter.

Ya, 1 Perseverance is a very long word but look on the bright side, your DD will be one of the very few P1 who can spell this word
I was hoping the sch will allow the gals to write 1C, 1I, 1P, 1G, 1R etc but just realize that there are 1 Respect and 1 Responsibility so I doubt the sch will call both these classes 1R. :scratchhead:

Checked with DD1, the order of classes I stated in my previous post are actually replacing the the current 1A to 1H. In other words, 1A will be known as 1 Compassion, 1B - 1 Integrity etc.

have you called the school? I called them y'day & the sch admin was very friendly & helpful. Told me to call if I still don't rec it by today.

I have just called the school and was told that there will be another letter stating the school bus vendors, where to get books and uniforms etc and what we will be paying on the 20th Nov. This letter will be sent out this week. So please keep a lookout.

As for the decal, as long as we submit this week will be fine. This is to facilitate the collection on 20th Nov.

My girl is in P1 Perserverance. OMG!! I don't like this at all!! What's wrong with Pr 1A, 1B, 1C??? The principle is trying too hard to be different.... sorry if I have to put it that way. Even the admin staff who answered my call was also laughing at the name and she told me we can feedback to the principle on 20th Nov.

Think it's easier if we can put in our names under the respective class our DD is gg to. This way, anyone joing this thread can easily identify who to check with regarding their respective class work (hee...just in case)

Ha ha...lucky got nearly 2 months to learn how to spell this long word. With perseverance, I'm sure your DD can do it.
Maybe during orientation, you all can check with the form teacher to see if the gals need to write their classes as 1 Perseverance etc.
