Hi autumnbronze
Thank you so much.
The school is using Macmillan Total Study. Will still get the Total Study Edition by Pansing (Publisher) for supplementary reading.
If your school is using Macmillan, then I think its similar to the one by Pansing. The one by Pansing is edited by Robert Wilks. Please double check before you purchase.
I believe the one by Macmillian is good enough.

Hi autumnbronze
Thanks.
There is a post about online resource by Suzanne Choo for \"To kill a mocking bird\". I tried to google for it but it seems there is problem with Suzanne's Choo's website.
Can you recommend a study guide for \"To kill a mocking bird\" ? Thanks again.[/quote]Another suggestion is to buy the VCD version and watch it. It's in black n white but rather engaging. However, I must say it is quite tough trying to locate the shop that stocks it.
Otherwise, go online to watch it. -

Please note that it is very important to understand the historical context and setting in the text. Set in the 1930s, blacks were very prejudiced at that time. Also take note that the southern states condoned slavery in the past. Though abolished, the prejudice was still very much prevalent until the civil rights movement.
Try to read up a little on American History, esp pertaining to slavery and treatment of African Americans, even before and after slavery was abolished some time in 1863, up till the civil rights movement. I'm only suggesting this as its the hols and you may have time on your hands.
Google Frederick Douglass. That can be a start.
I have not taught TKAM, but I did teach Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor. It was also set in the 1930s. And I gave the same suggestion to my pupils as I am giving now during the distribution of the year end assignments for Lit. -
:thankyou: Autumn for all the relevant literature links, appreciated.
