Bottomline, it is important for the kids to read the questions very carefully and know what is required and also to be careful when doing calculations etc. This requires practice, practice, practice! 😉 It is imperative that they keep their eye on the time so that they have enough time to do all the questions and not rush through towards the end. If they encounter difficult questions that is taking too much time, skip and do the rest of the questions before coming back to it. The strategy is to collect all the \"easy marks\" first and later collect the \"difficult marks\". Most papers are designed so that the majority of the students sitting for the exams can at least do say 60-70% of the qns.

I recalled when I sat for any exam and stuck with a difficult question. Thoufg I knew I had to move on but somehow my mind continued to think about that particular question. :stupid:

          Hi Carmen21

          Sorri to hear that.
Get the tutor to explain the concept and get your daughter practise hard.Am sure she will do well as long as she works hard.

My DD is in P5 this year. She failed her maths (49) during the SA2 exam. I'm kinda prepared that she will do badly this time but was in shock when she told me that she failed maths. Her school teacher says that she does not know the concept thats why she fail. I got her a 1-1 tutor but she score even worse before tution. I want to help her to move on but I really know nothing about the maths that they are learning. I found another tutor for her that starts tomorrow. Hopefully the tutor can help her to understand the concept and apply. Sigh....

Catch up with you later, need to rush for swimming.

            Can faint !

Luckily that was during the mock test. In the actual paper, didn't hv any mistake of this sort. In fact, he did quite well in his CL P2. All the MCQ all correct, which is a never before thingy. And he is v happy too.

Don't know how she check since she claimed still had suffiicient time left.

Wrong word will be deducted 1/2 mark.

BTW, Is your DS1 also P5 this year?

                Thanks

Thanks[/quote]Yes. he is in P5. For some reason, this term, he like \"wake up\". Did much better than the previous terms. And he also realised that when he puts in effort, his results will show.... he told me so. He said \"mama, i put in effort to study for the CL, that's why this term I am 2nd in class\".

I was like... :stupid: ..... \"ya... i have been telling you this since P3...\"

Just hope that this will continue till next year.
                  🙏

That's very good. This is a good indication show that he has big potential to 'cheong'. I'm sure he will be doing wonderful next year.

                        Hi Leanne

I bought 'Defect Chinese Comprehension for Primary Six'.

They have some interestiing quesiton like:

                        你认为秦始皇是个好皇帝吗? 为什么?
