titank:
Just reviewed the various SA2 paper of each subjects. Seem like the cloze passage is quite tough. The Maths some of the questions is not the straight forward kind.
Yes, i fully agree. As they're not allowed to keep the exam papers, I made copies of them and will check with other schools' papers to compare the standard.
I won't be surprise if RMPS standard is comparable to those of some top schools standard.... :scratchhead: -
My dd has most of the results except for : Chinese Oral/ Listening comprehension, English Oral/ Paper 1 (Composition).
I heard that they will only do Chinese Paper 1 (composition) in P3, any parents can share info on this?
And for those of you who are interested to purchase iflashbook for P2, i’ve requested the MT teacher to check if there will be a form for us to fill in & make payment via cheque. Will keep you guys posted. -

I understand that we will be able to keep the exam papers. The teachers need the papers back because they want to be sure that parents have seen the markings and have no dispute to the scores. We will get the papers soon. -

If you look at the dates scheduled for the exams, it does seem that Chinese composition is only for P3 and above.
I can check with my boy's MT teacher tomorrow if you are keen to know. -

Really? My dd informed me that all papers need to be returned and didn't mention parents can keep them. That's good news, i don't have to make copies for the Eng papers then. Thanks for yr info.blue-march:

Yes, I checked with my boy's form teacher, and she confirmed it. You need to return the papers to the teachers first, though. They will return the papers to us eventually. -

If no moderation, for those who failed, what will happen?I forgot to mention this. According to my son's form teacher - No Moderation to the papers.
My son also said that he received his marks for Health Education and Social Studies. Anybody else can confirm? -

I guess that's where the English Composition and Oral come in. They are not going to disclose the individual marks to us, so I suppose it's up to the teachers' discretion how strict or lenient they want to be in these two.
In addition, the unit reviews will push up the marks. -
qms:
Well, not to forget that unit reviews only carry 30%...remember i mentioned before only 3 in my dd's class scored more than 40 for SA2 paper? The highest in her class scored 44/50....sighfamangelina31:
