I do think it more or less will help. I did not buy any ciyu book.
However, more important is to acquire the sufficient ciyu, cheng yu and good phrases when attempt to all these 'why' and 'how' questions.
e.g.
在家靠父母, 出外靠朋友
纸包不住火
兵不厌诈 etc
Just my 2 cents thought -

Hello all,
Hope to find out from mummies here, do you allow your child to have facebook account and let them use it as a means of communication with her classmates?
Do you allow them to use Facebook especially during the last SA exam?
I was furious, because my girl actually open up a fb account herself and use it when she was supposed to be studying for exam. Her results ended up only improved by a mark.
Thanks for reading.

So far, no. Only went through with her what should be the answers based on 2009 papers.
This book was loaned to my nephew earlier on.

My kid has facebook since last year. During school days, hardly go in. But now that SA2 is over, everyday come back to school will go to facebook first. Think maybe it is a novelty to your girl, that's why she is so curious and spent time on this. Maybe after the initial interest, she will be less curious? -

I would prefer not as they may link to other subjects rather than discussion. If really no choice then have set the timing as children nowadays are not like our time.
