Yes. he is in P5. For some reason, this term, he like \"wake up\". Did much better than the previous terms. And he also realised that when he puts in effort, his results will show.... he told me so. He said \"mama, i put in effort to study for the CL, that's why this term I am 2nd in class\".

Just hope that this will continue till next year.

I do think it more or less will help. I did not buy any ciyu book.

However, more important is to acquire the sufficient ciyu, cheng yu and good phrases when attempt to all these 'why' and 'how' questions.

e.g.

在家靠父母， 出外靠朋友
纸包不住火
兵不厌诈 etc

Just my 2 cents thought
