The YangZheng school hours (on pg 4) for Wed starts at 7.20am, while the rest of the week (i.e. Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri) starts at 11.40am.

Wonder why does the school plan such odd school hours for such small children upsetting their body clock system in the middle of the week!? How to expect the children to wake up at e.g. 6am on Wed, while they can sleep thru till e.g. 8am on Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri? Do we parents expect them to also wake up at 6am on the other school days where school only starts at 11.40am? Logistically, it’s nightmare also.

Any idea why the school cannot also plan to start at 11.40am on Wed? Hope they can at least explore to have morning session on Friday instead of Wednesday.

I am confident that the school has high EQ and compassion to minimise disruption to our little ones as well as the parents and care-givers.

                    hi Zoo!

sorry about the late reply! from what i know is the school encourage the P1 and P2 to start their Modular CCAs early. i have ask around my sisters and colleagues, their children's school start Modular CCAs in P3.

My eldest is there and the younger will also be in YZPS next year . Like to share that the modular CCA really benefit the kids, they got a chance to try different things, learning typing, dancing, painting, microsoft, swimming, chess/ scrabble.

In the begining, i am also worried about wed but soon realised that there is no problem for the kid cos she really enjoy the wed and look forward to it.
