IIJ, her teacher was correct....some is tiny, some are very tiny....
if the teacher can explain and give examples to justify the question, i would think that it was a question well set. Now, kids will know what are the different types of microorganism and their size.

The size of microorganisms varies from a fraction of a μm for viruses, which can only be seen in the electron microscope, to several cm for filamentous algae or fungi, for example:

Micro already means very small, that means all microorganisms are very small or tiny. of course, they have different sizes but all are considered tiny. you can't split tiny into tiny and very tiny. it's like saying \"very huge\". proper english will just use \"huge\". the person who set the question has poor English???
