school bus rate

Hi all


can i find out what’s the average rate for school bus nowadays? Any difference with different level, i.e. more expensive for PNG and gets cheaper as the child grows older?

My DD in P6 this year (2 ways about 6km from home). Going home will be 2 timings (after school and 4pm) - $ 120

Another DD is in RGSS (1 way only). $ 110

my dd is in Playgroup. her childcare is about 2km from our place. bus rate is $120 for 2 ways.

$420 per term from Pasir Ris to Punggol, 2 ways (with flexible drop off point at Hougang).

i think the rate of sch bus is dependent on the size of the bus (ie whether got seatbelt or 'share' seatbelt), distance and maybe demand(?). my nursery boy's sch bus fare is $85 for 2 way. his church kindergarten is within 2km from my place. theirs is a mini bus with seatbelt for individual student.

i think the rate of sch bus is dependent on the size of the bus (ie whether got seatbelt or 'share' seatbelt), distance and maybe demand(?). my nursery boy's sch bus fare is $85 for 2 way. his church kindergarten is within 2km from my place. theirs is a mini bus with seatbelt for individual student.

Mine is $150 2 ways, a mini van that can sit no more than 10 kids, individual seatbelt, less than 2 km distance. Next year need to increase $10 some more, because the press said so.

Mine is currently $180, to go up by 20% from 2011.

I think mine is the most reasonable. $65 both ways – about 600metres from home to school. Big bus though with 30 children so need to wait for bus at main road. THe bus cannot turn into small roads.

Mine church school also leh. If take car less than 10 min. Damn heartache.
