Don't think so. PA will assign you to the RC in your block. Maybe you can be on and eventually become chairman and make your RC vibrant again? My baby born in 2009, so when should I join?
The RC near my house is very lazy, can I don't join them and join other C? :?

Hi, does anyone know how many years a person needs to serve as an Executive Member in the Grassroot before being eligible for P1 registration under Phase 2B as a community leader?

One year is the minimum amount of time you need to have served as an Executive Member to be eligible. -
Recently I heard is about 3 year service.

Not true. It's 1 year of service as an EM. Of course, the time to be confirmed as EM varies depending on the person's commitment and contributions to the GRO. Min. we advice is join at least 2 yrs before the year the child due for P1 registration. -

Year of service as an EM
- 1 year
(eg. must be on or before 30June10, for those registrating next year)
Year/s of service before confirming as an EM
- varies
I took half year to confirm, my friend (PR) took 2 years to confirm. So it all depends.
Maybe tat how it arrives at 3 year of service bah. -
Wonder if there's any real case of those EM with <1 year service... and managed to get Phase2B.... thru appeal or watsoever...
Or they really go by the book...
:? :? -
Yes, thereβs one case I know, my friend took almost 2 years. Dun know whether is it because she is a PR.
