My children have been with Yishun MPM and Jelic for 4 years. They were/are under the guidance of Teacher Priscilla Tan. There are definitely ups and downs in their learning especially when the topics get more challenging to grasp. However, Teacher Priscilla is experienced enough to know when and how much to push the child and when to unwind and go easy with the child before he/she snaps. My children have good rapport with Teacher Priscilla. As a result, they didn’t lose interest in Math when the going gets tough. Today, my elder child has a strong foundation in Math while my younger one has scored perfect score in her SA1 Math.

I would like to share my experience with MPMmath @ Yishun Ave 5.

My elder daughter has been with MPM Yishun since K1 till now (P2). Through the years, she has been taught by Teacher Priscilla and she has enjoyed her time under Priscilla’s supervision. Teacher Priscilla may be strict with her students but she instills discipline and consistency in her students which are important for the students to stay focused. She makes it a point to keep herself updated by attending external seminars/workshops which helped her in better preparing her students for the major school Math exams. I see the passion in her to help her students to be successful, not only academically but also in other aspects. She is also never stingy in sharing her experiences with the younger mothers of her students which helped the younger mothers avoid the pitfalls that she once encountered. Truly appreciative of that!

Over the years, I have seen students who travelled from as far as the West, just to join MPM Yishun. Today, my younger child is also under the supervision of Teacher Priscilla and I have seen the confidence she has gained under Priscilla’s guidance. My niece has also signed up with MPM Yishun after I have shared my experience with the parents.

Does anyone know where to buy Physiopak Ergonomic backpack in Singapore? I saw it during my child’s primary one orientation but didn’t get a chance to place an order and I couldn’t locate the person when I went back to the school to enquire. Apparently, this brand is not available in the retail stores in Singapore.

Hi, does anyone know how many years a person needs to serve as an Executive Member in the Grassroot before being eligible for P1 registration under Phase 2B as a community leader?

There are 3 primary schools within my neighbourhood (Division level), but at the constituency level (GRC), there are 10 schools which include the 3 schools in my neighbourhood. If I am a grassroot leader, would I be able to get a referral from my GRC MP to one of the schools under the constituency other than the 3 schools in my neighbourhood?
