Yes I'm still an observer. I'm not too sure whether mine is at which stage, screening, endorsing or processing. My chairman just tell me the CC has submited???? I did told my chairman of getting the phase 2B next year, and the date is crucial to me, ie by 30 June 2010.


I do not wish to ask the CC as I dun want my chairman to feel offended.

Don’t worry about offending your chairman and there is nothing wrong in contacting CC directly. This is because if you don’t contact the CC directly, the CC side might not expedite your application. The ACM/DCM/SCM are busy with other work.

In addition, your chairman is also a volunteer like you. He is appointed as Chairman due to his seniority. Without help from his members and volunteers like you, he will not be able to manage the RC smoothly.

Thanks for the comment. But I find no point asking them now, cos is over 30 June. I tink I just wait till the appointment letter comes and decide.

I’ll update you guys on the information.

Anyway, Rulang is my 1st choice. If I dun get tat EM status, tink there’s no way to enrol tat school, mine is between 1km-2km. Went for the PV interview, but definitely no chance to get.

You should receive it by now as my hubby received the letter 2 weeks ago. Otherwise remember to call up and check if you don’t receive.

If u have read previous postings, u would have realised to be eligible for phase 2B under active GRL, u need to serve under executive committee for at least 1 year. It is unlike parent volunteer which counts by the number of hours (more than 40 hours) contributed.

If u have indeed serve on the committee for a year, at around May or June, u should have receive an e mail from PA to express your interest in Phase 2B. Once u have replied PA, a formal letter will be prepared from PA stating your eligiblity for Phase 2B under the constituency that u have serve. U need this letter to apply under phase 2B during the primary 1 registration exercise.

There are 3 primary schools within my neighbourhood (Division level), but at the constituency level (GRC), there are 10 schools which include the 3 schools in my neighbourhood. If I am a grassroot leader, would I be able to get a referral from my GRC MP to one of the schools under the constituency other than the 3 schools in my neighbourhood?

Hi all, I still yet to receive any letter of confirmation of my EM appointment. I guess I am still an observer after all these months involvement in their activities since last Dec. May I know what do you all do as an EM? So far, I have almost joined in all their activities.
