      E3:
P1 to P2: en-bloc, only selective \"naughty\" kids will be split up and placed in different classes.

      P2 to P3: 11 classes (40 kids in each).
Thank you so much for the update. Does this apply to the present P3, P4 & P5 going to P4, P5 & P6 respectively?

Welcome. It should apply from P2 to P5 banding. However, the P4s will also be banded based on Math. The P5 will be banded based on Math, HCL and CL like what's happening at current.

P mentioned she will meet the P4 parents on Monday.

          E3:
The materials used for the top two classes will be the same, likewise for the next two classes.

Pls pardon my poor comprehension skills, does it mean the top 2 classes does not use the same material as the next 2 classes?

Supposedly more for the top two classes. The next two classes are also considered the better lot in the cohort, so they might have another set of materials but not as \"challenging\" as the top two classes.

Did she mention whether she will be arranging to meet this year P3 parents?

Erm...I might have missed that out...sorry....not sure leh... πŸ˜‰

If report books are to my given out on Tuesday, you think she'll have time to meet parents of all levels? Frankly, I was wondering about the mad rush to generate the result slips for the report books after the dialogue session next Monday with the updated classes.

Haha...almost wanted to record everything said in my phone...hehe...so I don't miss out on any detail.

Btw, there are parents from other levels attending too, although most are from P2. No verification done, so you might want to find out from Janet or the P4 parents in this forum the details of the dialogue session next Monday, may be in the afternoon, instead of 6pm like today, then you can attend too. I suspect the sms was sent to the Next-of-Kin recorded in your child's registration form, that's y my dh received it.

Yes, I remember that. Periwinklejoy, pench? Hmm...call up the school office on Monday...something I dread doing...:stupid:, but maybe you can get something out from them...ie if you can afford the time to attend. My gutfeel is P's mind is more or less set on this arrangement for the class banding and names.
