      Thanks, Pokemon.

Then I have to worry, my DD SA2 results drop drastically.
Will there be further streaming or they will stick to their class from P3 all the way to P6?

          Hi noobie,

Is it the paper getting tougher. Does P2 allow the student to bring back the paper for parents to sign.

            Monster Mummy:
            hi pokemon,

Does it mean that for P1, they will still remain at the current class in P2.
            Monster mummy,

According to my son's form teacher, they will remain same class in P2 but i think for mother tongue the kids go different class according to their strength.

              clueless:
Understand in some other schools that students are given a short test before allocating them into classes.

How does TVPS allocate pupils into classes in pri 1?
No, they dont do any test, the kids just randomly put into the various classes. School will let you kn what class your kid is in wks before orientation. But after school reopens, my ds mention dat they do a 'practice paper' for the subjects. I think the tests are to identify kids who are weak and send them to language, math n MT support pgm.

                noobie:
does anyone have the details of the new studentcare @ TVPS?? can the students go to the studentcare during school holidays too???? thanks.

                Noobie,

Didnt you get a letter from school via your kid about studentcare? Anyway, they have appointed City Community Services as the service provider. If you are interested, enrolment is at the school canteen from 9am-12pm on 9,11,14,15 and 27 Dec. Monthly fees is $240, studentcare is open during school holidays. Letters did mention you must bring along fotocopy of child bc, and both parents nric.

May I know the curriculum hours for this school (Upper Primary) and is there any Contact Time (if yes what’s the school hour on that day)? Thank you.

                    Jmon,

Izit the SA2 paper v difficult? P2 SA2 paper tk up 70% and 30% are other component.

Unfortunately, from p3 onwards, there will be streaming yearly. For P3/4, there are 2 top classes but P5/6 only 1 top class.

I would like to ask you if your DD attended the creative writing enrichment class during term 2 and 3? How is it?

Thanks for the prompt reply. So there's no extended hours and no contact time. Good.
