went to Lot1 popular last weekend and couldn't seem to find anything suitable....the staff had rearranged the shelves to make space to facilitate the yearend sch books order.
That's why I am thinking of going down to Bras Basah outlet. No reshuffling shelves. -

May I know how many assessement books per subject do you usually get for your kids ? I realised that there isn't any 1 book that covers everything required. It's like usually we need minimum 2 books per subject. And yet too many assessment books, we may not have time to complete them all.
No fixed number.
When my P3 boy was in P1, I bou so many. Ended up so many unused n then sold to some parents here.
So, P2 I cut down, ended up also some unused. Keeping the Maths Olympiad ones.
Now, P3 I did not buy many at beginning of the year, only Fabian Ng's, Janet Sim Sci and EPH CL compreh. Bou SAP EL after SA1 after knowing his weaknesses in synthesis.
I also hv leftovers from my elder boy's time  So using them for hols revision now. -
My DD will go for P3 next year, this will be very useful… thanks a lot…

Saw a P3/4 Science 3 in 1 Teachers' Circle by Joshua Lim & Julia Chan. Inside has qns on graphs n more on those Yes/No flowchart qns. The one I have by Janet Sim does not hv sufficient qns in this aspect, my boy did not so well for such type of qns. Will be buying this soon.
Hello Jennifer,
Thanks so much for your valuable advice here regarding P3 assessment books. My gal going P3 next year and I am quite worried about Science - additional and a new subject to her. I understand from some friends advice that it is a must to buy Science Booster Notes Books on top of the school's textbook, true? A dear friend passed me \"Lower Science Exam Booster Notes\" by Carol Phua [EPH Pte Ltd] which she has buys extra copy. DO I still need any others?
Sorry for so many questions  -
Champion:
DO I still need any others?
First, textbooks contain the minimum info and good for understanding basic concepts. BUT sch likes to set a few more thinking qns, sometimes not explicitly mentioned in textbooks, so it is quite necessary to read others or watch Sci documentaries. My child also watches two Okto progs on Sci on Wed and Thurs 8.30pm.
I hv no idea abt the one by Carol Phua. Is this purely notes with no test qns?
Maybe you can take a look at your child's sch Sci test papers and from there, compare the qns format with whatever you hv on hand. Then can determine if whatever you currently hv is sufficient practices.
I see that my child does not hv sufficient practices with those interpreting graphs qns, so would concentrate in this aspect. -
i bought comprehension skills by success publication (dorcas ang). gd to compre.
