Yes, for all members. The catalogue is likely to be out in the stores on the last Fri before sch hols starts. Just go to the cashier to q and collect the catalogue (1st copy u collect is free) by showng your membership card. In the past, is collect on Fri, start to use on Sat onwards till almost end of Dec.
is the Popular Bookstore 20% vouchers for all members? sorry, i am new member.Jennifer:
Popular Bookstore 20% discount voucher is not out yet. Do take time to window shop first.
I was at Popular this evening, wow so many types of Maths assessment books.
Saw a P3/4 Science 3 in 1 Teachers' Circle by Joshua Lim & Julia Chan. Inside has qns on graphs n more on those Yes/No flowchart qns. The one I have by Janet Sim does not hv sufficient qns in this aspect, my boy did not so well for such type of qns. Will be buying this soon.
I hope this round has 3 vouchers (like the Jun one). I heard that if used up 3 vouchers, can buy another catalogue for a nominal sum (like 50cts) again. Btw, only the Jun n Nov/Dec sch hols has 20% discount voucher. -

i saw both today. which should i get? (i see the pages until see stars...) my boy's sch is learning normal Chinese, but he is attending higher CL class in enrichment.[/quote]I saw another published by Greenleaf, this one format almost similar to the sch one, has sentence construction and matching the meaning of ciyu in compreh passage n compreh qn.
I am using EPH Higher Chinese Compreh (a blue cover), by Lee Yan. I also have EPH Chinese Compreh (also blue cover) by the same person.Jennifer:

i almost couldn't find the blue book earlier ...thankfully some parent forgot to return it to the shelves (i remembered you mentioned 'blue' cos i didn't know the how to read the second word of the author's name )and i saw it laying around on the table (with stacks of eng/math/sc books) before tracing it to the bookshelf.
i also saw some 'intensive'/daily revision CL assessment that follows the syllabus. are they useful? -
the greenleaf one for ch enrichment phrases is gd. greenleaf also hv close passage for ch.
for sci which bk is gd for p3?
no change in sci syllabus next year right? -

I used those topical assessment (Learner's- yellow) last year, good for revision on our own. But std not very high type, little higher than the sch workbook type. If sch std is higher, then not really sufficient lor. -
