But I recall last time I still get to mix/play with friends from other classes too. Before/after school & during recess time as well though, i cant recall how we managed to do so much during that schort recess period...

You are right, nowaday, my dd hardly have time to play, need time to come down from 3rd/4th stories to ground floor, need to queue to enter tiolet (hear from dd that it is really smelly), need to queue to buy food, need time to return storybook, sometime teacher forgot to release, help teacher etc After school, most of the children take school bus, hence no chance to play. So the only time, they can 'play' is in the classroom, but then teacher say cannot talk. Tough for kids nowaday to make friends.

she said that the P3 stds are going to stream according to their Math scores. Not EL, as she said marks too close, not CL - marks too far apart, SC - didn't even consider this subj. Left Math as it has a more wider score spectrum.

Does this Means that IF Next Years MA Results Too Close / OR Too FAR Apart, and EL Marks Got \"Wider\" Score Spectrum, Then Next Year Gonna Stream According to EL ....

And IF Following Year CL Got \"WIDER\" Score Spectrum, Then Stream According to CL ....

Or Better Still, Depending on Whichever Subj Got Better (WIDER) Score Spectrum, Could End up as ....
P3 Stream According to MA,
P4 Stream According to EL,
P5 Stream According to CL ....

hi Janet p5 wil b named loyalty. My dd happy as it's short n sweet. My gal brought back a memo abt change of class names, summarized as follows.
In 2011, wil intro form teacher guidance period to p3 to
p6. Existing c2e period wil be infused into ftgp. Ftgp wil foster closer interaction n bonding time between Ft n co-form teacher with pupils n for teachers to impart essential social competencies to d pupils.
P1 to p2 wil also hv ftgp in class. Cv education wil b done in hall n reinforced during recess programme.
As part of Sap flagship program known as Chinese arts program, p1 to p2 wil b given extra exposure time in chin thru art n music periods conducted in chin. Objectives r to promote appreciation n understanding of chin culture n cn Lang. To give continuity, art n music periods wil b conducted in chin in p3 next year. Review wil b done to assess effectiveness of these periods n decide whether shd continue with thus program for p1-3 or whether shd just keep it at p1-2 at 4th quarter of 2011.
Form teachers will inform us of our kids class for 2011 by mid-dec.
For class names, exactly same as E3's earlier update.
