Hi. From this year onwards, streaming into the top 2 classes will be at p4 (based on p3 results) and p5 (based on p4 results) levels. You can check out the letters to p3and p4 parents in the school's website. The top 2 classes are E and F. 😄

So allocation of P2 to P3 classes is just done randomly I guess ?

      Hi,

Yes, since no streaming so should be random although i have no info if any other method of allocation is applied. Maybe can ask the FT.

If that's the case, since there are only 8 classes (40 students each) in P3, about 3-4 students from each P2 class will be in the same class in P3.

                      Hi jtoh

Based on info from RGPS’s website, there are 8 mainstream P4 Classes and 3 GEP classes for 2010 and 8 P3 Classes.

                      Cheers!

                        Thanks Herbie.

You're right, only 8 classes in P4 this year, and 9 classes in P5 and 6 this year. Previously there was 10 mainstream classes A-J. I wonder why the numbers are reducing. Did RGPS reduce its intake in recent years?
