Looking this years P3 to P6 only from A to F class, if Humility exisits, means its G class, how come?

DD told me that only 6 of the sch values will be selected for P3-P6. The other additional 2 sch values will only be used for P1-P2. DD can't remember what all the 6 values selected for P3-P6 are. She only remembers P mentioned Humility, Compassion, Gratitude, Perseverance and Zeal.

I guess all children are different. I'm sure ur DD will excel in her own way & pace.
Your DD will be in AM session next year.....the wee hours will be a shock to the system huh...

The papers didnt mentioned abt the $60 cash for gymnastics fees though...

If you're ordering online, you can buy the MCS excercise books from Pacific. They'll know which sch's exercise books to supply you from your order form.

Just FYI, for home delivery, there's a delivery fee of $7.80 for up to 2 orders per delivery address or $15.60 for up to 4 orders per delivery address. Don't mean to be a kaypoh but I notice a few of you live in Sembawang. Maybe you all would like to split the delivery fee........cheaper...

For home delivery, if there are any books that are not available or out of stock (for example, the Helpmate), they will give you a form to collect the books from the sch bookshop when sch re-opens. [/quote]Thanks for the info Tinkerbell!!

I noticed there is a specified date for P1 to walk in to buy the textbook in Nov, any idea why?? I thought of going to Pacific Bookstore to get the stuff on Sat after the orientation, is it possible?

Yes, gals taking Catholic Vaues will also need to buy Civics & Moral Education (CME) book. CME (hao gong ming) is compulsory for all students and will be conducted according to your selected Mother Tongue.

I just called the bus service personnel... apparently they will also be at the orientation this Sat...

The bookshop at MCS has designated dates for walk-ins for different levels to minimise waiting time. Even with designated dates, the queue can be long depending on what time you go.

Sch bookshop won't be open on Orientation Day so you won't be able to buy textbooks on Sat.

If you plan to buy textbooks from sch book shop, it would be better to pre-order online and self-collect. After ordering online, you just select MCS bookshop as your preferred point-of-collection and your preferred date of collection. At least when you get there, everything will be ready for you. You will just need to check through the items with the staff. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for a long time for them to look for the books and pack the books. Usually, the staff are teenage students who are only working temporarily so some don't know where the books are kept.
