Need to work with him on compo topics to ensure he can understand and not write out-of-point. He tends to be very impulsive and jumps in to write without analysing topic to build story carefully. Sigh......

Perhaps dd felt 遗憾 of not able to take HCL. As such she wish that she will be given a chance to take HCL in her Secondary School.

top 30% in the PSLE can still take HCL at Sec 1

Another friend's dd t-score 238 without taking HCL went to Chung Cheng High (main). She was invited for a test, if test ok then can chose the HCL.

So does it mean that t if one does not intend to apply to SAP school or think that one's T-score may not be that high (not sure what is the cut off, is it 230 or 200 etc?) then, one can seriously consider to drop Higher Chinese to avoid spending a lot of time on the subject for PSLE?
