Juz to inform that my son successfully picked into GRPS during the balloting. It was almost at 50% before his name was called.

Hi daddies and mummies,

I just joined this forum. I have 2 daughters aged 4 and 2 and I stayed in Bukit Panjang.

I am thinking of doing PV in Beacon and BPP but I dunno whether staying within 1 km is impt?

I am staying at Jelapang area and are within 2km to Beacon but I dunno about BPP.

I heard that it is very tough to be selected for PV at BPP and I dunno not staying within 1km with have any problem in registration?

Other than BPP, I am also keen on Beacon pri but it is not near the childcare that my daughters are in. Would appreciate any advice from any daddy or mummy.


BTW my daughters are in Gloryland childcare.

I am registering for PV in Bukit panjang school. For Phase 2B 2010, APP is 82%, TUR is 76%. does it mean that if I am a PV, I can 100% get into the school without balloting? Did I understand correctly?


I stay more than 2km from the school but would like to know if it is worth a try???

Hi Kristmas,
For this year P2B all get in even staying outside 2 km.
But for what i know, there are at least 55 PV for 2012 P1 intake.
That means it may ballot in P2B for next year.
Unless there are some ppl haven clock in enough time than you might get a chance.
Where did you stay?
Btw im a PV in BPPS for child born in 2005... :lol:

i intend to forgo Phase 1 and for ds2, going to try SAPS (within 1km). if that fails, for phase 2Csup i am still deciding between LPS, DZPS (their new building should be ready by then) or ZHPS (i like their varieties of CCA) considering all three have direct public bus access. seems like ZHPS is out as they have balloting.
