I have no inkling dearie cos i'm clueless abt centres in TPY.Hi buds,
Can I have yr opinion on which Montessori schools to choose for my coming 18 months girl? Preferably to be around Toa Payoh area or Central area. There are so many in the market and it's really confusing as to which is a better pick. What do you think about Julia Gabriel Chiltern House East Coast? I know it's a different approach in their teachings but any comments whether are they good?
But.... Chiltern House is good. In fact, i was thinking last
time to work for them.
Until i found my passion for the Montessori Method. -

Hi!
Will like to share my view on CS Montessori at BTP. Finally went down with ds and dh yesterday as I was told there are just 2 places left for their Sat playgroup.
Place is bright, clean and super tidy!
The few teachers I met looks \"child friendly\" (didn't get to talk to them though).
Was most impressed with the gentleman who attended to us. He shared with us in great detail about the Montessori curriculum, gave us full attention the whole time yet kept alert on ds's movement/reaction at the same time. His enthusiam and belief in the program were distinctively felt so we were sold...Dh even asked why isn't ds going to their daily program!
We shall start ds in their Sat playgroup in Jan to familarise him with the environment and teachers. As soon as he blend in, we will switch to their daily playgroup program.
Shall update again. :celebrate: -
Hi notabox,
Thanks for sharing! Kindly update us after attending the lessons ya!
To other mummies & daddies,
Understand that CS Montessori will be opening a new centre at Serangoon. Anybody signed up already? Any updates for this new centre? -

Sounds very good!
The above is also a sound arrangement indeed.
I usually advise parents to start slow especially
for 1st timers going to pre-school... by that i do
mean both the parents and the child. :lol:notabox:
Cannot wait. :rubhands:Shall update again. :celebrate:
CS has been established a few years already.
I trust that this one in BTP has a pleasant environment
also because it is a rather new set-up. Hence it is clean
and tidy. Materials will also probably not be too heavily
used yet.
Happy you, dh and ds found the one you like! Gao tim
oredi for next year.... lucky you! :celebrate: -
Hi Buds,
Have been shopping for CCC for my 12mo baby (still have 6 more months to go before she turns 18mths).
Can you recommend a good child care in the East, preferably Bedok or Tampines. Am looking at Aces Montessori, however the school said they are full in 2011 and canβt take in more studentsβ¦
Thank you in advance. -
Hi swpf, i dunno about good cccs but here are two Montessori schools
you can recce....... Bedok MMI and also Brighton Montessori.
I stay in the North... and still looking for a good Montessori school
for my yet-to-be-born-baby...
