P3 Assessment Books (English, Maths, Science & Chinese)

Saw a 'Fairfield' PSLE guide. I like the experiments explanation inside. but it is very thick! Is buying PSLE guide too early now and overkill? :oops:

In my opinion, no. PSLE Science overs P3-P6 so use the P3 chapters. The only 'risk' is new edition comes out before your child takes PSLE but the last 2 editons of the orange PSLE guide, not much difference except some re-org.

I have the Fairfield guide too. Very thick but I like the way the explain the experiments.

mcq = multiple choice questions

oe = open-ended questions, ie write ur own answer

i agreed totally :slapshead: i go popular almost every friday for 2 hrs while my kids attend classess. but always come back empty handed!!! cannot decide what n which assessment is suitable for different needs. worried that if i buy too many, my kids have no time to finish

my dilemma is whether to get the child finish the top sch exam papers (whc showcase the actual standard of good schs) or do the assessment bks whc are gd for topical drilling but standard may differ from the schs.


if i dont start exam papers early, wont hv time to finish before exams

and ya, there are so many gd assessment bks to choose from.
