will be bringing
* Down jacket x 1 (thinking whether to bring a spare)
* squall vest x 1
* Wool sweater x 2
* fleece sweater x 2
* snow pant x 1
* snow jumper x 1
* fleece-lined polyester pants x 2
* long-sleeve tees x 6 (thinking whether to bring 2 more)
* long john x 3
* fleece sleepwear x 2
* wool socks x 7 pairs
for DS.

Maybe too much just for DS (since only 8 days in total). With all the above, already one big luggage.

For myself, have not decided what to bring and how many to bring.

Hi, just being kaypoh here. You might want to bring gloves, ear muffs, wool hat and heat pads (can buy from Winter wear etc). Remember to bring moisturiser and lip balm as the weather is cold and dry. Hope this helps.

Hi generally I will let them wear 4 layers of clothings. Winter coat, sweater, long sleeve t shirt and lastly cotton thermal wear or short sleeve t shirt.

Winter coat - 1 pc
Sweater - 3 pc
Long sleeve t - 4 pc
Thermal / short sleeve - 6 pc
Pyjamas - 3 sets.
Hat, glove, scarf and of socks
Shoes suitable for snow and stand by a pair of sport shoes

For heat pads, got quite a number of them during recent Tokyo biz trip. Price much better than Singapore.

Haha....I have fren that borrow the vacuum cleaner![/quote]Best to just buy the compression bags from Daiso. Various sizes from small to really big. No need vaccum cleaner.

Hi Vlim,


Our \"packing\"style is very similar.
I prefer doing layering way of dressing up cos I have experience in going in and out of shopping mall, building, coach, and once in it, its so hot, so doing layering really helps alot.When I put on the winter jacket, its really warm enough.
