as NUSH is a school which focuses on Maths and Science, it would be hard for students to apply into NUSH with just a honourable mention. however it might still be possible to apply into NUSH if the application could be justified with other outstanding achievements and qualifications relevant to Maths and Science.

Agree .. to have a high chance for DSA to NUSH, students should have at least: Gold for NMOS, Platinum for SMOPS and Distinction for RI World Maths.

                Hi

I have purchased the Terry Chew Books. They are very useful. The following link shows the books and sample pages:

My daughter is very exasperated! The book 'Olympiad Maths Trainer 6' by Terry Chew has tonnes of mistakes. At last count, she has spotted 30 inaccuracies in questions and answers, as well as ambiguities! :stupid: She expected more as she is still doing the questions . . .

Has anyone faced the same frustration with the other series like Olympiad Maths Trainer 1 to 5?

Huh??? Either the parent is \"ultimate kiasu\" (verykiasu, you lose to this one who might have drill and drill from young), or that kid is a super genius (usually even super genius need kiasu parent to know how to prepare him for such thing).

Actually, why need to attend K2 / P1 - go direct to upper pri will do. Better still, homeschool to prepare him for uni
