According to my friend, his DS had to sit for a test from school then he’ll be advised to put his DS in suitable level.


Your son was in SMU 1 right? Means he just finished his 1st semester only as the school started in July.

yes my son had to sit the test..



no.. my son went to go to Singapore before he completed his middle term of SMU 1. He is doing fine in math, science etc. The problem is
that in English. I hope if he goes to sec 2, he will be able to
adapt further to the english lessons, do the CCAs more actively before O Level to have brighter future... However if I'm afraid he will be disadvantaged during admission to other institution...

Please help me...

I can only say, it depends on how much risk you are willing to take. As you are not sure of the school your son is going to, there’s not much I can advise.
