My First Skool (former NTUC Childcare)
-
I would like to know what can I do/inform whoever on my DS who is now in Infant care.
I placed him on the 14 oct 2010 and within 2 weeks, he has 3 bumps on his head. All have 'baluku' one.
I had talked to the principle and she said that they will try their best to prevent any more bumps on my DS. And said that my DS is learning to crawl and stand up, too active and fast before the teacher can get hold on him.
I have voiced out to the principle how angry and unhappy I am but I just want to make sure the teachers really pay more attention to my DS.
Currently only 4 children knows how to move around including my DS. The rest of 7 children are lying in the cot.
What can I DO???? :?: -
I guess that’s the prob with My first skool.
They are too popular as they are SO conveniently located and relatively cheap. With great subsidy from govt. And it’s like a govt school thus have nice facilities/big compounds.Teachers are also not a problem as most come from SEED institute. But are they really good?
Some are, some aren’t.
Most of the centers can hardly cope with the huge enrolement numbers they get each year. Not as a school but as a class.
Of cos since your child is learning to crawl/walk now there will be definitely bumps and all but if there are only 4 that are mobile as for now i don’t see why the bumps occured so frequently.
I guess if it’s just a little red it’s alright but baluku not very good…
I guess you will have to talk to the teachers about it and assure them that you are fine with him falling and knocking here and there(minor) on soft surface but you don’t want to see anymore baluku and such. -
I have already raised my concern to the principle and she said that she will inform the teachers and will pay MORE attention to my child. When I went to fetch my child, two teachers kept saying 'sorry' to me.
This morning I emphasis on the baluku to them again as it is still there, has not subsided. I know my child will get few bumps now even at home he also knock himself bt not to the extend of baluku. Will just pray hard he will out of this phase soon.

I'm thinking of sending my girl there too... but i'm not working i dunno will they give me time to find job... i hear that some childcare will let the parent have time to find job like 1 week time and as long as i find a job they will give subcidize....Hi,
any mothers here who sent their babies to mfs infant care @ tampines? Any reviews? I'm thinking of placing my DD to the new infant care @ bedok north blk 503 and the principal would be transferring from tampines.

is the curriculum at My First Skool good? Comparing this with the branded pre-schools e.g. Kinderland/ Learning Vision…

at least the centre admits its their mistakes and apologize. my kid was recently being hit on the face by his classmate with an object. principle told me its common and didn’t even apologize.

Hi,
Are there any comments on MFS @ Guillemard?
Thanks a lot. -
Any comments on my first skool at Blk 269 Compassvale link?I am thinking to transfer my son from existing Childcare centre as he keep to cry for every morning to the CC, even he is at that CC for 2 years. as some of the teachers really look very fierce and like people owe her million dollars. So i am thinking to change a new one for him.
