This is seriously too much stress...worrying about the kid's Chinese, tests and writing... my parents never worried that much and never read a Chinese storybook to me (coz they don't speak Mandarin). I think I should just let him manage on his own. If he fails once, maybe he will wake up.

Hi 24-hr mom,
You are stressing us out with all your questions and your kid isn't even going to MS yet! -
oh i m arranging for classes for my boy and wondering if it is important to find just compo, or also oral ones.
my #1 (girl) - her sch oral is 30%.
she didnt do very well cos her tuition doesnt cover oral. wonder if i shd change the plc. my boy is worse in terms of academic inclinatn -
MS has no exams for P1. Dun worry so much. What you should do now is to drill your son in Hanyu Pinyin. You are the epitome of kiasuism...

vicki:
The colour should be correct (using this year p6 colour). The school categorize levels by name tag colours. P1 will use green colour throughout the 6 years. By looking at the name tag colours, you can tell which level the kids are in.Hellos everyone...
