If you don't have priority in registration in earlier phases, you have to secure a seat through PV, else you stand basically no chance at Phase 2C as balloting is required for those staying <1km.

I think they limit their PV vacancies. And some schools close their PV application very early, like before June, so better hurry.

i have no experience with Dazhong, but only heard that they may be shifting to another temporary premise when their school is upgraded. if you are considering them, do bear in mind logistics issue.

Just in case anyone was wondering, I have just found out from Princess Elizabeth Primary School that they do not accept any PV except for parents who's child has already successfully registered in the school.

Reason given: they do not want children who fail to ballot in get disappointed as they believe that parents move-on quickly but not some kids..

I'm eyeing that school too for my son's P1 next year. I've talked to quite a number of parents whose kids are now studying there. All I can say is that they and most importantly thier kids, are happy with the school & its holistic emphasis i.e. balanced academic & CCA.

My 2 cents worth. Hope this helps
