        ok thks pecalis

just to clarify, according to the MOE 2011 Secondary Sch admission booklet, page 6 - \"Bonus Points for Admission to Special Assistance Plan (SAP) Schools-Pupils in the top 30% of the PSLE cohort who take Higher Chinese at the PSLE will be given bonus points foradmission to SAP schools ...\"

you can view the booklet here http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/secondary-one-posting/files/secondary-one-posting-english.pdf

oh, then how i know my gal result fell under which %[/quote]I can't find the breakdown of this year's score. My son got 252 + 3 for HCL. His S1 option form states that he is eligible to study HMT in secondary school and he is given all the 3 categories of third language options. His friends who scored below 250 are not offered HMT and have cat 1 and cat 2 third language options.

So we figured the top 30% score is >250.

I cannot sleep well last night because thinking of the 6 choices of secondary school. 😞

My son score 230 and very hard to choose school with this score.

            If I choose:-

1.) Maris Stella, COP 232 last year,
2.) Nan Chiau High, COP 231,
3.) Temasek Secondary School, COP 230
            4.) ?
            5.) ?
            6.) ?

Do you think he can get into Maris Stella or Nan Chiau?

            Is Temasek good?

I have to make sure he get into the right school as he is easily to get bully.

Need you advice, please help. 😞

If top 10% is about 250, then top 30% is about 230?

In any case, you can only use your HMT bonus points when applying to SAP schools. And SAP schools would probably have COPs of more than top 30%.
