Hi all, i'd like to appeal to Dunman High. I got 255 + 2 for my PSLE & DHS's COP last year was 258. One mark difference only


Can anyone tell me how to appeal and when I can start appealing???

And, will Dunman High lower its COP this year? Coz the national top score this year as compared to last year has a really great difference, 8 marks lei!

P/S: Can i appeal with leadership? Coz i'm a prefect in school & participated in the Head Prefect Election + organised many activities.

My neighbor has scored 247 including her higher chinese. St Nicks has IP program me in 2013 right? I heard that when we reach sec 2 than we would be able to chose if we want to get into IP during sec 3. How much chance will she stand to get into st nicks or cedar? Will the COP drop this year?

The new 7 IP Schools do not start with 2010 P6 Batch.

It start from 2011 P6 Batch for VS and 2012 P6 Batch for the other 6.

Sec 2 refers to the 2 batch of students who go to the non IP of the schools and when they do well in sec 2 have a chance to switch.

Yes, Sec 2 refers to the peers of the 2011 Pri 6 (doing IP at VS & Cedar) and 2012 Pri 6 (doing IP at the other 5 schools).

When you are in Sec 3 in 2013, you will not be eligible for the IP at VS/Cedar unless you are at either one of these 2 schools. However, if you did really well, perhaps you can apply to join the IP at any one of the existing IP schools which offers entry at Sec 3?

Both me and my son were disappointed with the result.
I thought of appealing to review the result but most of them discouaraged me, and the result may be the same what we have now.
What should I do and which school he can go in with current score in Ang Mo Kio area?

Perice Sec is not a bad school. As for your question about the 3A+1B, it has to depend on your son marks. 3 high A and a middle B would have gotten 238. My son got 4A and a distinction for HMT and only got 236+3

It have a much longer illustrious history. Most overseas university are familair with the RI/RJC brand and they know that it stands of excellence.

Perice Sec is not a bad school. As for your question about the 3A+1B, it has to depend on your son marks. 3 high A and a middle B would have gotten 238. My son got 4A and a distinction for HMT and only got 236+3

so the range of 4A can be from 218 to 236

the band for 'A' is a very wide one, hence people speaks of low A, middle A or high A

Firstly , when you do the S1 postng exercise , put Nan Hua High as one of your top choices . (Top preferably) . Then , wait for the posting results to come out . If your child get selected to Nan Hua High straight away , good for him . If he is not , download the appeal form from the website ( this is how you get appeal form for some schools ) . Then , write you reason why you want you child into tat school , and together wif your child's testimonial , result slips , hand in the appeal form .

hi, appeal start after the posting result is out.

You can appeal by testimonials from teachers or a strong CCA would do too
