INNOVATE:
Hi INNOVATEIn this sch, as long as your kids are within the top 70 percentile, i personally think that efforts should be channelled to the development of sports or performance arts rather than fighting for a place in GEP or top mainstream classes.
Just pause for a moment and consider whether the above made sense.
Thanks for the valuable info you've shared here. My girls are in this school and it is good to know this piece of info here. Short of asking the teachers their level position do you have any idea roughly what score (80s or 90s) they must maintain to be in top 30% in the cohort? I presume we exclude the GEPs but include the E and F?
Thanks. -

Congrats to Bianca for doing so well at PSLE! Does anyone have the overall results of PSLE this year?
The GEP girls from 6 P, Q, R classes dominates the top 20 scorers, only 2 or 3 E/F girls under the sub 270 range.
By sub-270, do you mean the top 20 scorers all scored above high 260s?

From the highest 276 - 270 all are taken by the GEP 6P/Q/R girls. For PSLE, RGPS produce 44 girls with 4 A*, 66 girls with 3 A* ,
the mean drops to 231.4 against 234 last year in view of the overall lower T-score this year. -

I read on another thread that your dd's going to NUSH. Bianca too? Last year only 2 girls from RGPS GEP opted to go NUSH. Are the majority of the girls heading to RGS this year? -

This year may have more GEPers and mainstream from RGPS in NUSH. Good for her companionship after all NUSH is well-known for 5/6 boys to 1 girl ratiio.

Haha! Yes, the ratio at NUSH is very skewed.

So your dd didn't try for out for RGS & Nanyang at all? She has a mind of her own.

Hi. Does anyone know how the E/F class syllabus is differentiated from the other mainstream classes besides twinning? Interestingly, p5e/f have their own booklist but not p4e/f and p6e/f. Cheers.
