            Hi 25hrmaid,

Thank you so much for yr advice! What is the significant value-adds in SAP schs compared to other sec schs. On second thought, I think my son will likely not stand a good chance for Xin Min. May drop that option. Have you heard anything about Nan Chiau High changing their principal? Is the sch environment good?

              Hi NiNi

Sorry, I read and answered so queries over the last few days that I completely have no idea what your child's score is, so please pardon me.

Sorry, my knowledge of the various schools' values/add-ons/performance/results etc is very limited so therefore I am unable to comment on any of the questions that you mentioned above.

Perhaps some other parents here might be able to help? :?

any suggestions of sec schools to choose with 204 score? residence around upper bt timah and what is safe cop range to select?

also what's the appeal process like? do you go to only one school (assume yr 1st choice?) to appeal? or do you go to the rest as well? what if appeal is rejected?
                tks much for sharing

                    Hi Pecalis

Have you submit your daughter choice of school?
                    Hi Ksfaith,
No, not yet. I'll bring dd down to the 3 schools tmw - NYGH (just to let her hear for herself - almost no chance), NJC (prob 1st choice - since she still wants to try IP) and SCGS (2nd choice - strongly encouraged by 2 friends as her Eng is her forte)

                    Will submit tmw nite.

Many yrs ago (my time), TKGS was way more superior (ah em). But now, looking at COP alone, TK Sec looks slightly better but again, it depends on the culture of the sch you'e looking for and the nature of your child, whether you prefer all girls or co-ed...

Personally I prefer co-ed for Pri and all girls/boys for sec sch. Some people discourage all girls for the first 10yrs, as there's some adjustment needed in JC or Poly.

If the pupil psle t-score is higher than the school COP, does it mean it should be no problem for appealing?

Any example of appealing failed but the pupil t-score is higher than the school COP?
