The reason why we did not include NYGH is because it did not seem to make any sense to put it as 2nd choice since the COP is higher and my DD is -1 point off last year's COP.

Yes, 236 is no way for VS. Don't waste your choice.

I would switch CCHM as 2nd to take advantage of the HMT.

I have changed the choices to:

1. Nan Chiau(COP 231) instead of Tanjong Katong Sec Sch (I prefer TKSS but their COP is 234 which is 4 points higher than my son's score.)
2. Dunman Sec Sch (COP 231),
3. Temasek Sec Sch (COP 230),
4. Hai Sing Catholic (224-247),
5. Pasir Ris Crest (220-235),
6. Pasir Ris Sec Sch (222-238)

Is it more realistic?

yes, yr choices are well within the range of yr son t-score
if u really like TKSS, still can try for the 1 st choice (but be prepared not getting it)
and if u dun like hai Sing as what u had mentioned in yr previous posting, then remove it lorr.)

shdn't worry, No disadvantage
as the S1 posting is according to merit (t-score)
so far, from what i read/heard, moe's reply is that No 2 T-scores are identical.
