Yamaha does not offer such an arrangement
Anyway, if selling within 5 years, sure can fetch > 50% in open market ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think they do provided that you upgrade your piano with them.

Iโ€™m sure parents here would be glad to take over from you if you priced it attractively compare to those offered by second hand dealers.

Some dealers do take back pianos without the need to upgrade because they have the skill to restore old pianos. Yamaha have good 2nd hand value. Like what Raynreg says, there won't be issue reselling them to anyone la.

How old is your DS? and how advance? I am so tempted to get a piano though my 4.5 daughter just started piano lessons a month ago.

Just want to share with those looking for 2nd hand piano. I got a yamaha WX-1 many years back. Itโ€™s very rare in Sโ€™pore because it was manufactured in Japan for Sโ€™pore market but it was too expensive for the local market so they stop production. Itโ€™s a good performance piano, 121 in height but was told by ex-yamaha technician that itโ€™s as good as a U2. It has a x-bar behind for stability. The music desk is a pull-out panel, so sound also comes out from the front side. You can keep a lookout for this piano.

Got it when it was 7 year old. Previous owner was a rich tai tai who likes to change piano from time to time. I paid 6500, the original price was more than 10K.

I wonder if itโ€™s good to get a brand new piano. A lot of parts are not from Japan anymore. The piano is assembled in Japan tough. I heard that U1J is not a good buy. My tuner said he had encountered problems with these pianos.
