good luck! -
Both my friends, sons scoring : 248 & 250 are applying for VS.
As VS is going IP next year, think there will be more people applying whom might have higher T-score. -
As far as I know, VS COP has always been around 245, plus or minus 1 or 2 points. I would say put it down as 1st choice and try to appeal later. According to DS3, quite a handful left the school throughout the year for various reasons. 2 from his cohort were transferred out at the end of the year due to their poor performance and according to the principal, this is the first time it happen in the school's history.
Even if you made it to the school, make sure you work hard. :celebrate: -
My advice is that if you want your child to be less stress during the secondary school life, do look at the mean & median T-score of the secorndary school.
If the child’s T-score is somewhat around there, most of the time you can see that the child’s year end result is somewhere above the cohort.
If you look at the lower T-score and enter to the school, there will be so many people above him/her, the morale will be affected if the end result is always at the bottom. -

Within 5 pts I would think go ahead an put it as 1st choice and stand-by a good 2nd choice(just in case)Hi, i have a son who is 12 years old now and choosing a secondary school.
He wanted to go to Victoria school.
What is the lowest entry point this year?He is not under DSA. :? -
VS COP will be up this year due to IP in 2012 and moreover is affiliate to VJC. DS told me most of his classmate scored 250 to 255 had chosen VS as 1st choice. DS is one of them (T-score 253)
-
My DS scored 260 and apply VS as 1st choice as well. :celebrate:
-
Good luck to ALL boys and their parents who had chosen VS!
