i sent my new myanmar maid yday and when agent checked her bag, she has alot of cosmetics, new clothes as if come here for hoilday :shock:

My ex-indo maid when came to SG doesn’t have much clothes. My mum pity her, bought 5 new sets of clothes for her. She appreciate it.


Always get to sleep after 8pm, woke up at 6:30am or later. Doesn’t have to wake up in the middle of night to make milk for my babies. Finished my Old Town coffee before I gets to drink it. She eats vegetables that are cooked together with pork. After a month, she knows simple chinese.

She make friends with neighbour maids. Throw rubbish 3-4x a day and route to neighbour house to talk; my mum only throw max 2x a day. Often suka suka open the main door, bring my kids outside and talk to maids next door.

She has teabreaks in the morning and afternoon. She likes to choose what food to eat, if food doesn’t suit her, she cook instant noodles. When comes to cooking dinner, she decides what to add in, ignoring my parents instructions. Put more ingredients like mushrooms, fishcake, etc and she gets to eat it. Sometimes caused my parents to quarrel over this; Saying madam/sir asked to add in one.

Every month she get to call home and bf at least 1-2x using her own money to buy phone cards. Phone call usually last for 2hrs or more.

Finally, we sent her home due to she has got herself a hp and money missing from the house. She rather be sent home than to tell us the truth; Stories keep changing when probe how she got the hp.

Thanks. But this one does not show her face enough. It also looks like her but she has a tudung on, so I'm not sure.

The maid I sent off in Nov 2009 is of the same age (but the real age is only 15 to 18), but of a different name. But this murderer is using only a single name, right? Why? The timing seems right, too. DH and 4 of my children thought the photo looks exactly like her.

anyone has good maid agency to recommend for mynmar maids? We went to United Channel,4mths ago, until now still no maid in sight…


1st 1 selected waited >1.5mth for passport to be issued, after get passport, she didn’t pass medical check up there…2nd 1 supposed to be passport issued on 22nd Nov(after another 1.5mth wait), this week we called to ask status, the staff said passport not out yet+don’t know when can get…but yet they didn’t bother to call us to inform…total we already watied 4mths!!unacceptable!!

now we don’t trust their stories liao…& urgently need a maid, coz past 4 mths we can wait, coz hubby out of job, so can look after the kids…but he finally just got a job, so it becomes urgent already!!

Really frustrating to face an urgent situation, when it was not supposed to be…sigh…
we still want a mynmar maid, coz of bad experience with previous indo 1…& our last maid was mynmar,was slow, but simple, honest, harworking & patient with my 2 young kids…we are not particular with household chores, but need a trustworthy maid, as we don’t have elderly at home to help to ‘watch’ & supervise maid…sigh…

Those who have got good maids, do recommend the agency and the agency fee so that we can have an idea which is good and their charges.

JPB $288 (last yr’s rate)
- Filipino maid (service was good by manager but she left when I have problem with maid and thereafter service by others was below average)

Jack Focus (I think $388)
- got no reply from them even after leaving my requirement for them to source suitable candidates for me (I tried twice alredy in a span of 6 - 9 mths thou i went down personally)

Far East ($188/ $288)
- Average service and limited bio

Thanks for starting the ball rolling…
for me, United Channel’s service is really terrible…don’t even bother to do simple thing like update on delay in issue of passport…what else to expect from them…& this is the 2nd time I engage them…the 1st time also bad experience, but this time went back to them coz I have no other recommendation for agency who brings in Mynmar maids…
But again, utterly disappointed with their ‘no-sound-no picture’ service…sigh…
