In-law problems?

I'm not marrying her. Of course my hubby was brought up by her and have twisted mentality...she taught her children one twisted mentality - MONEY IS MOST IMPORTANT. I am particular about hygiene and now hubby is trained to know what is cleanliness and drink water. He doesn't drink water then...only Pepsi. Advised him to cut down on sugar, oil and salt for health reasons.then i admire u, still proceed with the marriage despite knowg ur mil's pattern.
i thot i wont hv prob cos my mil seems nice person n she takes care of her own mil very dutifully. but i didnt realise her taking too much care applies to my kids too - too much control.
i overestimated my tolerance. sigh. regretted getting married .
they only care abt their children n grandchildren. its true.
last time there was once, we were staying in a rented condo. the landlord came n gave some present. my mil didnt bother to tell me what is that thing lying on the table. she waited for my hubby to be home and tell him - as if i m transparent at home! then she will wait for my #1 to be home after childcare n bring her up to thank the landlord!
she must bring my girl along wherever she goes. very idiotic！
She doesn't do her part as a grandmother, and yet expects the grandchildren to know who she is. I am praying hard for the both of them to fly to US and preferably stay there for as long as possible. -
ya my mil also loves to stock up pepsi n coke in the fridge cos her sons like to drink. so my hubby drank a lot of coke from young.
(she has a younger son also like that. so both were staying wf me last time)
she will offer more meat, prawn n fish to my kids but never vegetables or fruits -

She adopts the style of offering anything and everything possible to make her children happy...never bothers if the food/drinks are good for health...just so that the sons and grandchildren say that she is the best. :slapshead:the old sch of sch is offer whatever makes their son happy..

same for disciplinary. never discipline kids one. so that no one will reject her. -

NEVER will she do anything which will make her look like a MONSTER to the grandchildren. So if stay together, she will always defend the kids and mummy will not be able to discipline them. I have an agreement with hubby - when I discipline kids, we have to stand together.u got it dear!

Fortunately I don't stay with her...otherwise my kids will be spoilt brats...unable to tell good from bad, right from wrong, difference between clean and dirty. She thinks she is doing the right thing all the time...when actually she is not.u r damn right.

Since her dear daughter wants her children to be close to grandparents, the both of them better go to US and spoil their grandchildren all they want....better still if stay for good, which is not impossible bcos she will have to cook every meal. -
last time she use to keep i told her keep one or two is fine so we threw the rest away cause wen my gal is abt one plus she take go n play. now my mil will keep it srcretly in her wardrobe so tt i will not know hahaha. dont understand y old ppl like to keep things while me is the lesser things the better :?
