But they did get the new P1 students to do some kind of test/quiz/assessment/excercise (whatever they call it now) during the orientation on saturday. I wonder how they would use the result because the students are already split into classes. Any idea? Did they do it last year?

My girl will be P1 next year and her class is Theodore. She told me she was given worksheets (English and Chinese) to do. The teacher told them that if they don't know the answers then just leave it.

hearsay that RMPS would be relocated as they will be doing renovation. any idea when are they moving and when are they moving back to current location?

RELOCATE??? OH no!!! please don't tell me it's true. My boys are starting their first year there in 2011.

Btw, just want to re-confirm. 1 Jan 2011 fallls on a Saturday, so 3 Jan 2011 will be a replacement PH for schools? And the school will starts 4 Jan 2011, Tuesday.

Is that right?

DH just contacted RMPS this morning, (cos no email response to our query on orientation). He was told that we will be received by the school counsellor on the 4 Jan 2011 to go thru some stuff.

Where did you hear it from? I think it is better not to believe unless you hear it from the school personally.
