hearsay that RMPS would be relocated as they will be doing renovation. any idea when are they moving and when are they moving back to current location?

Where did you hear it from? I think it is better not to believe unless you hear it from the school personally.

Had confirmed this news with Nissa, Admin Manager. They are not relocating but there will be on site during the upgrading. They ensure that all precautions will be taken to minimise any inconveniences.

Had updated the RMPS register where there are at leats 2 parents in the mid primary, meaning P3 to P4. Do hope to exchange pointers from everyone in here.

Zhangde's school counsellor told me, the new principal for RMPS is also quite an dynamic principal.. like Mrs Lee Mrs Lee moving to a Secondary School.......

When Mdm Lee was at the helm, she wanted to start single session in 2013. Not sure whether this is still the plan.

Yupe yupe, after many email queries, I finally know where my 2 boys be in next year.

DS1 will be in 4N and DS2 will be in 3I.

I am so relief that they both are not in the top class... M, A1, A2 - is the top 3 class right?

But I noted some parents here mentioned abt pure boys class and pure girls class. Now still like that???

RMPS once ran a half an year trial, to set up 3 classes, 2 pure boys classes and 1 pure girl class, my DD was in this pure girl class when she was in P1. This was just a trial run, and it ended when those kids went to P2.

For P3, the top classes is 3M, 3A2, and 3A1.
For P4, the top classes is 4M, 4A2, and 4S

You know what? I suddently felt so settled and at ease now.. once I was very worried that DS2 may ended up in one of those top classes.

DS2 is a little street smart, and to some extend he became too complacement if he sees himself already being among one of the top students. Is not like he is striving to be TOP 3 or what u know? To him, so as long as he knows he is in the top class, he doesnt' mind which position he is in.

He never studies his exam, spelling, or prepare his show and tell. Each time, his teacher has to SMS me to remind me abt that.. given his kind of learning attitude, he can still goes to ZPS, Top P3 class next year.

His form teacher (at ZPS - P1 to P2, same teacher), told me repeatively, this son will do my proud one day, (he scored everything 90 and above, worst case is 86 once, i think for all subjects), that he is so disappointed with his results going down.. bla bla bla...

DS2 even told me school is boring!! So I hope, with him going to a new environment - most importantly, NOT in the best class will make him strive a bit harder.. to go to the best class. To me, whether in the best class or not, really doesn't matter, but what i want to see most is - his learning habit, he needs to learn to be more pro-active and not complacement for who he is.
