boring:
Hi my sister used to send her son to tien hsia but she felt it was quite academic. He didn't develop any interest in chinese and wasn't able to get over the mental block. So after some time, she tried berries and it was much better. More fun, and they have more activities and interaction. He enjoyed it alot more. So I guess it depends what you're looking for. I think berries is better for younger kids, especially if they have some 'phobia' of chinese and don't enjoy it.hi, intend to enrol dd in k2 class next year choosing between this 2 as its more convenient.
any feedback is greatly appreciated.
I'll be enrolling my boy in berries too next year. Meantime I've been trying to make him more interested in chinese and to make it more fun. Got a scrap book and we cut and paste family photos, pics of outings/holidays, and cartoons, and write some words in chinese. e.g. father, mother, etc. He loves looking at the scrap book! I think it's important to help kids enjoy the learning process and not be afraid or put off by chinese. That's half the battle won. -

how do you find the tampines mart branch?I am currently sending him to Tampines Mart branch.
heard that Orchard branch the teachers are good.
facilities wise, is the tampines central one newer? Just wondering which one to send my kid to.... -
Hi toddles,
Today my son went for second "trial". Turn out not to be a trial price but $32, cos he attended trial last week, so $15 offer is only for once.
Anyway, I am glad that his teacher is very responsible and encouraging. The environment is very clean and neat. Best is security is good.
I am very happy with this centre. -
Hi Toddles,
I just realised I didnโt answer your qn abt Tampines central branch. Not sure if it is newer/ better, but to me it is a bit far for me. -
