Thanks Carebear…we booked the train tickets to KL on the 24 Dec -8am . Will also stay at Berjaya Times Square hotel ( expensive now only left the $200 plus & above) to enjoy the theme park called Cosmo’s world.

Do you think i shd book the transport to Colmar Tropicale online now ?
Also, we didnt book any tickets back to Singapore on 31 Dec…:p Was crossing our fingers to take the coach back from Afamaso resort …or does anyone think we shd first book some coach back to Singapore from the travel agencies now.

kinda feel a little insecure cos didnt book tickets back.

We also did not buy the return train ticket back and end up all train ticket were sold out on our return date, which happen to be a public holiday. The Grassland coach ticket counter is just opposite the time square, underneath the overhead bridge. That might be your backup.

Sunway lagoon is fun! If you are not planning to specially tour malacca, then no need to go to afarmosa.
Malacca back to Singapore no problem. Check out this website.

We were in KL last week to visit dh old classmate.

For those going to the Cosmo theme park at Times Square, please remember to bring your Popular Card as you can get 20% discount on all tickets. Beware of the DNA Mixer, my ds usually have very high threshold said it was sick.

We just did a 2- day visit and We tried the Dorset Regency Hotel which is just at the end of Jalan Imbi. Time Square is also along the same road and within walking distance. Only $100 and $120 if you want breakfast for 2. It’s like a 4 star boutique hotel. Not much in terms of facilities, just a small indoor gym and pool. Can see Twin Tower from room. Room has 2 twin bed and very spacious for a family of 2A 2C. Very clean and nice. We thought it was value for money.

Yes, we drove. The path leading to the carpark is very narrow so be very careful. It is free. Paid SIN120 to include 2 breakfast. You can choose to exclude and it's 100. We paid for breakfast for kids at MYR19.90 per head. We use http://www.booking.com.

It's near Berjaya Times Square. Maybe 15 mins walk. But very hot that day so we drive.

Don't know about the renovation but we were there on 5-6Dec and it was neat and quite classy. The lift has security and only your card key can activate the lift to go up. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Their room can stay 2A 2C with 2 twin beds. Kids stay for free as long as they're under 12 or look like under 12

Booked a superior room at Berjaya Times Square hotel but they did not have the room in tower B which has Internet access, so they upgraded us to a deluxe room without extra charge 😄 !

The good thing about this hotel is its good location. The price is a little higher but the rooms are huge. There is a bedroom, living room with small dining area and a kitchenette. The bathroom is really huge.
As my kids are teenagers, this hotel is just right for us.
