There is only 1 best class in P3 and p4. The rest of the class are all mixture of kids with varying abilities.

I think I will ๐Ÿ™ for a caring teacher along the likes of Mdm Soh. Also, preferably someone who is not going on maternity leave.
Ya that day went to watch the leap program and saw so many female teachers pregnant  ... Oh mine mine ... They going to get many relief teachers ... :|
Oh gosh big tummy is equal to big headAche for parents. Heard that this year 3c if not wrong, the tr went for mat leave n end up that class having lots of relief tr. Of cos ends up falling grades and some chaos inthat clAss ! Hope that the school will plan a better solutions for those class who form tr gg for leave. As far as I know 4H (2011) is the best class only. Others are scattered. Not sure for p3 (2011). I m quite surprise that the p3 n 4 are not using my pals anymore! I wonder will the new version of English taught be able to prepare them for Psle? How cone there isn't any science workbook for p3 (2011)???
Another surprise thing I found out that my child p3(2010) didt even complete 50% of her my pals English workbook! I just found out cos I happen to pack those old book to be recycle. As I has my busy schedule, I hardly ever check their school stuff and more ever, they keep their workbook in school most of te time. Wonder how the new syllabus of English will be e????

Yes... the 3C situation this year is a classic hence we need to pray for good luck when it comes to teacher allocation ๐Ÿ˜‰ But on the other hand, I feel that with alot kids (though not all) attending enrichment outside school, they shouldn't be affected badly even when they have a teacher situation :?

Teachers make a huge difference. Having a passionate teacher will change the child's attitude towards studies. We were very lucky to have a passionate new teacher for our P2 this year from term 3. He improved his handwriting and being more careful during exams hence his SA2 grades improved significantly versus SA1. He also aspire to achieve good grades due to motivation from his form teacher.

My impression is they are moving back to HM? Yes... didn't see science activity book list for P3 for 2011. Wonder why too..... but being the ksp, I actually bought it.

Has any parent send their kids to the Chinese Language School located opposite MBS. I am deciding whether to send my P3 & P5 kids there or to a more reputable school.

                  Just monitor the situation closely.

Sorry I really need to vent.

This ft is unable to teach both subjects on the same time, as in follow the timetable. If she does EL today, she can not move on to Math. Beats me why??? My observation of her is that she will cramp the kids with everything 1 month before the exam. Why does the school have to change the system???? I kept comforting myself that she'll get a NEW ft in P2. :x :stupid: :stupid:

You mean the P1 FT will be the P2 FT again????

My cousin is also teaching P2 and concidentally she taught my son last year and I saw that the kids in her class have such a great and engaging time with her. I hope that my K2 willl be taught by her next time. ๐Ÿ™

BTW, we used to have another teacher for my P2 but they changed her after term 2 due to parents' feedback. So all is not lost. Just have to monitor. If the parents' feedback are reasonable and warranted, I am sure the school will listen.

Last year, my P3 also had a change of teachers (in fact various) until the entire class was behind the entire level. For the 1st half of the year, we were plagued with teachers issues. But I also learnt that despite all these movements, she wasn't really affected as she had enrichment lessons outside school. So it was at that point that I felt that fortunately we had such arrangement.
