Has any parent send their kids to the Chinese Language School located opposite MBS. I am deciding whether to send my P3 & P5 kids there or to a more reputable school.

oh boy! :!: I was rejoycing as I thought that my dd will be having a new FT in P2 but to my horror, it is a relief teacher until the old FT comes back from maternity leave.

We understand what you mean.
Just monitor the situation closely. -
Does anyone has any idea which are the top CL classes for P3 and P4?

This ft is unable to teach both subjects on the same time, as in follow the timetable. If she does EL today, she can not move on to Math. Beats me why??? My observation of her is that she will cramp the kids with everything 1 month before the exam. Why does the school have to change the system???? I kept comforting myself that she'll get a NEW ft in P2. :x :stupid: :stupid: -

You mean the P1 FT will be the P2 FT again????
My cousin is also teaching P2 and concidentally she taught my son last year and I saw that the kids in her class have such a great and engaging time with her. I hope that my K2 willl be taught by her next time.
BTW, we used to have another teacher for my P2 but they changed her after term 2 due to parents' feedback. So all is not lost. Just have to monitor. If the parents' feedback are reasonable and warranted, I am sure the school will listen.
Last year, my P3 also had a change of teachers (in fact various) until the entire class was behind the entire level. For the 1st half of the year, we were plagued with teachers issues. But I also learnt that despite all these movements, she wasn't really affected as she had enrichment lessons outside school. So it was at that point that I felt that fortunately we had such arrangement. -
Yes the P1 FT is her P2 FT now. What angered me is that she indirectly told me that I should send my child to external help if I think she is not good enough. The issue was that she didn’t prepare the class to sit for a 1.5hr paper in a classroom setting and that my dd didn’t have the stamina to complete the paper. While I heard that other classes had their mock tests but this class had NOTHING.

chasingjelly, my DS (P2) class also had a change of FT. The P1 FT went to teach in the morning session. I heard that the FT allocated to the class is on maternity leave now and the current FT will teach the class until the actual FT is back from ML. In fact, DS’ teachers for all subjects were changed!

MMM, I saw this subject "ftgp" in the timetable. Do you know what subject is this?
