      Hi,

I tried to make my own soya milk, and my kids love it... The taste is good and I don't worry about too much sugar, preservatives, etc. But it takes a lot of effort.. :))

I am thinking of getting a soya milk maker... Does anyone have feedback / review about what brand to buy?

      Thanks a lot.

We got ours from Tangs. It's called Smartbean nutmilk maker. Comes with 3 options of soya bean, nut rice/amond and green/red bean. Been using it for about 2 years. Just soak the beans the night before, wash/rinse, add water, pandan leaves and leave it to the machine to do its work. After it's boiled, you need to strain the pulp away.

We only use the soya bean option. Not sure what/how to use the other 2. :?

Is it easy to clean? And what is the capacity? I am thinking whether I should make more soya milk and keep it in the fridge for a few days, or make fresh milk everyday…

just went to ask my maid. the machine grinds and boils the beans. But after that you must strain the pulp away. But since we dont add preservative, cant keep in the fridge for more than 1 day.

And it’s easy to clean since there isnt a filter.

This sounds interesting. Never thought of making my own soya milk, but my son’s fond of it. How much is Tangs selling it for?

Hi, coincidentally I was thinking of getting 1 too 🙂

Mathsparks, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like to find out how long does the process of grinding and boiling take. Just wondering if I'd need to wake up earlier to prepare it. Thanks in advance!

We normally drink Unisoy instant soya milk powder. It’s 100% Organic. They used to sell in packet powder which I mixed it with my babies’ formula, but all that’s available are in sachets now.

Allseasons - have you tried Unisoy before? Do the fresh soya beans taste anything like that or similar to those from Mr. Bean?

What is the capacity and can make how many litres?

Where to purchase? How much does it cost?

I bought a few before, I found all models are quite difficult to wash. Finally, I found to use the blender is must easier…I make soy milk every morning as our breakfast.

Below I list down the procedure how to make soya milk use blender,

                        1. Soak soy bean after every dinner.
                        2. Next morning, Use blender to blend soy bean with a cup of water for 1 minutes.
                        3. Pour blended soy bean water into a pot, add 4~5 cups more water in the pot. Boiled it for 3 minutes.
                        4. Pour boiled soy milk through a filter…Soy milk is ready.

The blender I used is the one sold at the OG door promotion.
