Q&A - P2 English
-
Hi caroline3sg,
Thanks for your speedy answer. Your answers are the same as the answer sheet.
Why is the answer for no 1 ~ most ? How to explain to kid.
Q3 My boy argued his grandmother will definitely not take an umbrella coz the shower will stop in no time. Please help.
Thanks. -
1) In a competition, there are a lot of people taking part, definitely more than 2 persons, therefore ‘most’
3) ‘Shower’ is rain for a short while, will get drenched. ‘Drizzle’ will not get drenched if never carry umbrella. -
THANKS caroline3sg.

Can someone who’s kid in P1/P2 tell me - how much writing is there in school?
Eg. P1 - roughly how many sentences of writing a day or week, P2 or even P3 as well.

Answer is ‘me’ for both.
You would say ‘The teacher told me’, not told I. Similarly, ‘my father took me’, not I. -
you are right. I was asleep

Pronouns have cases:
nominative (for subject of a clause) = I
Objective (for object of a verb or preposition) =Me
Possessive (when a noun owns another)= My
In your sentences, the pronouns (either me or I) are both objects of verbs. Thus, use the objective case.
