Yep, was in Mumbai....

But, not to catch up with dad. Dad had to go on separate business trip, so I saw him when I came back from Mumbai

Been VERY busy with schoolwork a.k.a 5 2000+ word stories, and 5 poems, all centred around the theme of relationships, and all original :faint: :yikes:

Hi buds!


Not sure if anybody asked you before, but will you be hiring a confinement nanny? Why/why not?

Heyya DesertWind, never had engaged a confinement nanny before

and not planning to engage one for this one either. Dun see the need
to waste $$$. :moneyflies: The only service i do not fail to engage is
the massage lady's services. Helps lose weight and regain figure way
better than slimming centre's that's super costly & also time consuming.
But the thing is, discipline. Must really watch what you eat during this
confinement phase, get enough rest which is the best time after the
daily massage. Frankly, confinement period to me is the best time to
get back my ideal weight and figure. So, hope i'll manage to get it
back real quick since this time i didn't bloat up like the first two.

Buds_hubs took leave for first two confinements to help care for baby.
First two, i also had my mumsie to help out with cooking and baby.
Daddie was also a gem. Always taking over the carrying part to soothe
baby to sleep and quickly put baby down once successful while i had to
express. We do not use swinging cradle or anything... neither do we do
the swaying or rocking baby to sleep. So, we hope it'd work the same
for this one as well.

Now that we're staying on our own, hubs is taking extended paternity
leave on top of the given few days from his company..

He says it's good to start the year not having to go to work. :lol:

Another reason why i don't require this time is also cos since hubs is
around (on leave)... he'd be doing the housework & minding the kiddies.
He's fantastic with housework... can multi-task... (trained liao) :lol:... and
can find time to play with the kiddies AND \"force\" them to sleep when he's
worn out. :lol:

So, my fren... hope that clarifies.

In short, we'd just be taking care of one another... all 5 of us. :love:

Wow, good for you, buds, and buds-hubs too!
It is always nice to have close family support especially during the crucial periods in our lifes. Much as money can buy the services of a confinement nanny, money cannot buy the genuine love and concern showered by own family/parents.

It took us a long journey full of challenges, fate,
second chances, trial and errors, endurance and
definitely a lotta faith.

If one finds that a marriage.... a family is worth
fighting for, then it's a life's marathon one must
be prepared to run.

I cannot honestly say mine's all in order cause i
never will know what \"else\" the future will bring
to test me yet again... but i do know this. What
ever i have tried and done the last 10years, i
have done my darnest best.

And if still.... things do not work out, it's truly
beyond me already. :xedfingers:
