      PowerPuff Mum:
      Some questions for NJC parents,

Is it a good idea to buy school uniform now before the 23rd Dec rush? Should I go with my son to the orientation on 23rd Dec to buy the school books? Or should I just pass him the money to get it himself. I am not sure how much to give him.

      please advise.

      Thanks,
Go with him on the 23rd to buy the schoolbooks lah. If your son has a confirmed place, then yes, just go buy the uniform at Bibi/Baba(Shaw) before all the rush starts. I'm not sure if Bibi/Baba has the PE outfits though. They might not have. You can call them first. There's also a polo tee that has to be bought from school.

Not sure if similar to last year. If it is, then it's just principal & VP's address. The actual orientation takes place on day 1 of school on 10th Jan for one week. The student have been preparing for it already this whole holidays.

          Thanks for the feedback.

Some students go with 2 sets of parents. 1 goes with the student for the briefing in the lecture theatre while the other starts queueing at the back of the lecture theatre for the books and uniforms. *hehe*

Actually I find 3 sets more appropriate. If rain, then how? Ok - unless they have dryer at home lah.

the other thing is, if in boarding, it's still better to have more sets of uniform then less.

But of course again, this set of uniforms is just worn for 2 years. Uniform changes in year 3.
