Yup...that was what his P1 form teacher told me. So I have been doing that since. Really helps.
I hv bn pasting on the top right hand corner too, easy for the child to see and take out from the sch bag.janet_lee88:
Hi david1234,
I always write the names on the corner top right of the book cover and the first page as well...teachers told me it's easier to locate the names when distributing the books.

You need to walk in personally to the general office to fill up a form to put him in the waiting list. Attach with his P1 results as well as a letter (optional) to explain why you would like to transfer him. The principal will make her choice when vacancy arises. Not FIFO, so you may still stand a chance even when you are not first on the list. They do give priority on some circumstances such as proximity, compassionate reason and good exam results, but exactly how good is good, of course, I have no idea. All the best!
You can write in to the school with your son's P1 results...to be on the wait list. When there is a vacancy and your son's results are good, there is a high chance of a transfer. All the best to you.Ah Soh:

U R Right, My Gal Confirm for P6 Also,
Yup that's right. For Pri 3, Responsibility 9 is the top class followed by 8 and so on.Happy Mama:

From what I have gathered, the top class for both P3 and P4 will be the class with the last number for that respective level. Apparently, not likewise for P2 class allocation. :?
The Top Class is Resilience 10, follow by Resilience 9 ....
But One Puzzuling Thing she Brought up, One of her Classmate in P5 (Faith 5) who does Avg in Class is sent to Resilience 1 ???? :?
Hope it's a Typo Error .... And she is supposed to be in Resilience 10 ....
Else All our Theory about Top Class .... Goes Ka-Pum!
Ha Ha....
Now My Gal is Pondering on How to Shortform the Class Name Next Year ???? :?
Shall it be : RES (NOPE ! : Got Responsibility, etc Already ....)
Or Should it Be RSL, RESI, RESL, .... Ooooh So many Combination to Choose from ....
How ???? :?[/quote]
I am puzzled! My girl scored 273 and was posted to Responsibility 7. My neighbour's daughter scored 271 but was posted to Responsibility 8. WHYYY IS THAT SO???????????????????????? :?: -
I’m also wondering my son was posted to a different class from his other classmate who had close scores…furthermore, both not taking HCL next year. He is is Loyalty 1 but the other classmate is in Loyalty 3. How is the posting done ?

So, we hv the following type of ranking:
1. P1 enbloc to P2
2. P2 to P3, P3 to P4, P4 to P5. Possibility is ranking for top 160, next 161 to last pupil randomly placement
3. P5 to P6. Sth else? -

That's quite impossible because I have done my checks and yes, the cut-off for Responsibility 8 was 274, so 273s will go to Responsibility 7; while 267/266 will go to Responsibility 6. All marks are very close this year. Extremely competitive. -

Hi Jennifer, yes I think P mentioned during briefing about the top few classes, and the rest all being S-Banded and distributed equally so that there will not be any last class etc...So, we hv the following type of ranking:
1. P1 enbloc to P2
2. P2 to P3, P3 to P4, P4 to P5. Possibility is ranking for top 160, next 161 to last pupil randomly placement

Hi Janet, I think most probably it is because other than the top 3 or 4 class, the rest are being S-Banded and distributed equally throughout, hence no last or lousiest class. -

Wow, Happy Mama, you are so resourceful! Any idea what's the cut-off for Responsibility 9? No obligations.
